Find time to visit Tuscarawas County's section of the historic Ohio & Erie Canalway towpath trail. The Canalway connected Ohio to the industries in New York and New Orleans at the peak of the canal transportation era and stretched through Ohio from Lake Erie to the Ohio River. Open for walking, bicycling, and horseback riding, visitors can also explore the paths of history with the newly constructed footbridge that crosses over I-77 linking Fort Laurens to Zoar Village.
